Postby ehartner on Sun Apr 11, 2010 10:51 am

Version History:
11/Apr/2009 - 2.0.1.38
- Fixed the Check For Updates process. All versions mysteriously started getting the “Connection Closed Gracefully” error.
- Fixed the Upload Database process. It was getting the same error as the Check For Updates.

12/Dec/2009 - 2.0.1.36
- Make sure when drawing grid cells that the font color of selected cells uses the default Windows color for selected cells.

14/Nov/2009 - 2.0.1.35
- When automatically checking for updates, open up the Glossary Index afterwards.
- Changed the SMTP port a new port accepted for outgoing mails by fourwillows.
- Fixed upload database. The database was being uploaded in ASCII mode and ended up corrupted on the FTP site.
- Fixed the email notification when uploading databases.

01/Nov/2009 - 2.0.1.31
- Streamlined the update process a bit.
- When searching only selected glossaries in the multi glossary search, be sure to remember the selected glossaries for next time.
- Implemented automatic update reminders. See configuration page for frequency options.

22/Sep/2009 - 2.0.1.28
- When the grid row height has been increased, I now make sure that no text shows in the cell under the last visible line.
- Also needed to adjust the “page size” when changing the column widths (as in version 2.0.1.26 for row height adjustment).

21/Sep/2009 - 2.0.1.26
- When attaching a file to send … it was not displaying the whole way across the send email form. This made it very hard to read.
- In Multi Glossary Search (as in Expressions), you can right click on an expression and get a full view of the expression without increasing the field width.
- When increasing the row height in the grids, the “page size” is adjusted and you stay on the record that you started on.

28/Jul/2009 - 2.0.1.23
- Enabled the importing of .xlsx (Excel 2007) and .docx (Word 2007) files.

28/Jul/2009 - 2.0.1.22
- Added the language matchup functionality to the copy/cut/paste in the Glossary Index (I forgot this in 2.0.1.21).

26/Jul/2009 - 2.0.1.21
- As in the old version, when copying/cutting/pasting or importing into an existing glossary, you can now match up the languages.

05/Jun/2009 - 2.0.1.19
- Fixed a bug that didn’t allow new databases to be created.

26/May/2009 - 2.0.1.18
- Added ability to generate a report in the Expressions form.

06/May/2009 - 2.0.1.17
- Auto save grid data if moving to another form.
- Brought back “quick insert” in the Expressions form.
- Multi glossary search now remembers which glossaries you searched last time (assuming you didn’t search all of them).

22/Apr/2009 - 2.0.1.14
- After importing, if the Glossary Index is opened, then refresh it so that we can see what was just imported.
- Fixed a bug importing from Excel if only one sheet exists (nothing was being imported). Actually, it was always assumed that the last sheet would be empty … and if it was not, it was not being imported.

03/Apr/2009 - 2.0.1.12
- Gave the users the option to FTP their database file to the interplex server. This is useful so that I can test out issues that the users are having with their db.
- When finding in the Glossary Index, I now make sure the expression count is updated for the found glossary.
- Make Ctrl+F Find in the grids faster.
- Give an option in the Multi Glossary Search to make the searching faster (by not refreshing the grid as often).
- Added a closest match to the Ctrl+F Find (like in last version). You will can set this in Configurations under “Use Legacy Find Method In Glossary Index And Expressions?”. By default, it looks for an exact match and allows the F3 Find Again.

31/Mar/2009 - 2.0.1.7
- Fixed problem with export to Excel and Word when an expression is null (like was fixed in the previous release with export to text).

30/Mar/2009 - 2.0.1.6
- Fixed problem with export Excel when an expression started with an equal (=) symbol. Also fixed problem with export to text when an expression is null.
- Gave the option to add database information when sending an email.
- Slightly changed the logic of the edit memo functionality to more closely match that of the previous version.
- Fixed import from previous version problem when importing unlimited field width glossaries (and the configuration option is set to no).

29/Mar/2009 - 2.0.1.2
- From now on, the sample.iplx will not be overwritten.

29/Mar/2009 - 2.0.1.1
- In making the jump to next word work, I broke the changing of the column and row sizes with the Ctrl+arrow. This is now fixed.

28/Mar/2009 - 2.0.1.0 – First Official Production Release
- You can right click on an expression and get a full view of the expression without increasing the field width. This is like the previous version.

- Finished help system.
- Fine tuned some of the messages.

- Multi Glossary Search sorts the language in the appropriate columns.

To Do:
- Remind to backup glossaries to text periodically?
- When printing expressions, do we need to show the print dialog the first time … since it comes up again in the print preview. Probably do for allowing orientation to be picked.
- Add sql logging to the Configuration - keep it easy.
- Gather up icons used and save them in Bitmaps and icons.

Nice To Haves:
- Import/Export Excel (and hopefully Word) natively.
- Voice recognition when searching. See web site: http://www.o2a.com/dtalk.htm
- Fix the vertical scroll bar in the grids to make it proportional as to where you are in the dataset.
